About Train Roster
Train Roster is a private list keeper for model train collections. It runs by itself: there is no staff, no marketplace and nobody reads your roster.
Whose site this is
weldonhastings.us is one of Weldon Hastings' websites. [WHUS-02]
Before this roster, the site was a WordPress page titled "Weldon Hastings" with the tagline "Model Train Enthusiast - 027 Gauge Of Course!". [WHUS-01]
Weldon Hastings founded WeldonPC (weldonpc.com), which powers this site. [WH-01] His other websites are listed at weldonhastings.info. [WHUS-03]
How it works
- Start a roster with one tap. You get a private link; the site keeps only a scrambled form of its key.
- Add pieces one by one. Each piece can carry a kind, scale or gauge, maker, catalog number, road name, condition, box, year, what you paid, your own estimated value, where it is kept and notes.
- The roster adds up counts and values by kind, by scale and by storage place, and filters by any of them.
- With the Roster Pass ($1.95 a month or $19.50 a year; free during preview) it holds up to 2,000 items and prints or downloads as a spreadsheet.
Train Roster is not connected to any train maker, store, club or insurer, and it names no maker on its own pages: the maker field is whatever you type.
